Purpose :

As the Store Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our luxury retail store in Milan. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring high standards of customer service, operational excellence, and brand representation. Your strategic vision and leadership skills will drive sales growth and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and mentoring

  • Coach and mentor team members by setting commercial objectives.
  • Implement effective incentives to motivate the team.
  • Focus on self-awareness and development.
  • Maintain high store standards and a positive work environment.
  • Manage store recruitment, evaluation, and staff development, including succession planning.
  • Ensure all People and Culture policies are followed and staff issues are resolved.

Strategy and analysis

  • Provide feedback on product mix and sales data to drive performance.
  • Conduct market studies and competitive analysis to identify sales opportunities.

Commercial and Sales

  • Train and coach team members to meet sales targets.
  • Monitor and report sales performance and customer feedback.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
  • Manage seasonal sales events and special promotions.
  • Develop strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and relationship building.

Client Experience

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and after-sales support.
  • Develop strong client relationships and support team sales efforts.
  • Build partnerships with local businesses and brands for events and collaborations.

Operational excellence

  • Ensure store presentation and service standards are maintained.
  • Oversee store operations including payroll, cash management, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with stock control and facilities teams to manage stock and safety standards.

Any other tasks as assigned.

Skills and Experience Required :

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail management, preferably in luxury retail.
  • Strong commercial awareness and leadership skills.
  • Experience in planning successful events and team motivation.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • High standards of professionalism and brand representation.
