Job summary

Hermès Italie seeks a Stock Controller for its Milano stores to ensure accurate stock management and reliable product flows. You will oversee both physical and IT processes, keeping stock perfectly organized and aligned with omnichannel operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, fluency in Italian and English, and experience in a similar retail position. Proficiency with Excel and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential for success in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably with an analytical focus.
• Fluency in Italian and English; a third language is advantageous.
• Experience in a similar position, preferably in retail.
• Proficient with Excel / IT tools.
• Professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism, teamwork and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming and outbound product flows with coordination between physical and system-based processes.
• Organize stock spaces for tidiness and efficiency to optimize flows.
• Coordinate daily replenishment of stock on the sales floor.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams.
• Organize local/international transfers between boutiques.
• Monitor and close expired reservations; reintegrate stock.
• Perform daily stock checks, negative stock controls, stock takes & cycle counts.
• Develop mastery of stock-related processes and tools.
• Understand omnichannel sales processes and implications on operations.
