Rosewood Hotel Group is seeking a Stewarding Manager in Rome to oversee the efficient, cost-effective Stewarding operation across hotel kitchens and outlets. You will manage inventories, par stocks, and equipment while upholding hygiene, safety, and brand standards.

Working closely with Culinary, Food & Beverage, Procurement, and other operational departments, the team ensures that all operating equipment, kitchen utensils, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency. This role leads a team of stewarding professionals while fostering a culture of teamwork, service excellence, and operational effectiveness.YOUR ROLEAs Stewarding Manager, you will oversee the efficient and cost-effective operation of the Stewarding function, ensuring seamless support to all hotel departments. You will be responsible for managing operating equipment inventories, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, driving operational excellence, and developing a high-performing team. Through strong collaboration with Food & Beverage and Culinary leaders, you will help deliver exceptional guest experiences while safeguarding hotel assets and resources.HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE* Lead the day-to-day Stewarding operation, ensuring smooth support across all Food & Beverage outlets and kitchen areas.* Manage inventories, par stocks, and operating equipment to ensure adequate supply while minimizing losses and breakages.* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization throughout all back-of-house Food & Beverage areas.* Collaborate closely with Food & Beverage and Culinary teams to support daily operations, service delivery, and quality standards.* Oversee stewarding associates and external cleaning contractors, ensuring compliance with operational, safety, and hygiene standards.* Monitor costs, productivity, and resource utilization to support financial goals and operational efficiency.* Recruit, develop, coach, and engage stewarding associates to build a high-performing and motivated team.* Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, fire and life safety standards, and brand requirements.COULD THIS BE YOU?* You have strong experience leading stewarding, kitchen support, or hospitality operations within a hotel environment.* You demonstrate excellent organizational skills and can effectively manage inventories, equipment, and operational resources.* You are a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and leads by example during peak periods.* You possess strong people management skills with the ability to recruit, coach, motivate, and develop diverse teams.* You have a solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and operational compliance standards.* You are a collaborative team player who builds positive relationships across departments and with external partners.* You are financially aware, with the ability to manage costs, improve productivity, and support budgeting processes.* You communicate effectively and can confidently manage stakeholder expectations, operational priorities, and service standards.OUR BENEFITSAs part of our team, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your wellbeing, professional growth, and life beyond work.
