Job summary

Tecno Piemonte Spa, part of the Apave Group, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Steel Department in Lenta (VC), Italy, on a long-term fixed-term contract with potential for permanency. The role focuses on steel testing, data handling, and supporting the department’s daily operations.

Ideal candidates hold a geometra/perito industriale diploma or an engineering/materials science degree, with strong MS Office skills and a driving license.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and organizational skills, and accuracy
• Team spirit and strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Category B driving license

Responsibilities

• Performing Laboratory tests on steel samples (bars, sections, bols etc), such as tensile, bending, impact, chemical analysis, hardness etc
• Data processing and preparation of test certificates/ reports
• Maintaining records necessary for managing samples and test results
• Supporting the daily management of the Department (material acceptance and registration, document preparation, material preparation)
• Proactivity and problem-solving orientation
