Duration: 4-5 months

Type of Contract: Curricular / Extracurricular Internship

About Us

We are part of an international group in the HVAC-Plumbing sector, active worldwide with multiple locations in Europe, including Biassono - MB. As part of our digitalization efforts and data management optimization, we are implementing the PIM Salsify system in Italy, already operational in other group entities.

The Project

The PIM system enables centralized, efficient, and structured management of product information, supporting sales, logistics, marketing, and customer service. At the European level, the ETIM standard is also used for technical product classification.

Role Description

We are seeking a young, curious, and precise individual to support the local team in implementing the Salsify PIM system.

Responsibilities

• Data entry, updating, and validation within the Salsify PIM system
• Gathering and organizing information from various departments (Sales, Logistics, etc.)
• Supporting product classification and coding according to the ETIM standard
• Collaborating with an external provider on technical and implementation activities
• Verifying data consistency and quality according to company standards
• Providing operational support for daily project management

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, management, marketing, computer science, or related fields (including students or recent graduates seeking curricular or extracurricular internships)

Technical and Soft Skills

• Excellent knowledge of Excel and familiarity with data management
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Precision, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Teamwork and cross-functional communication skills
• Interest in information systems, data analysis, and digitalization of business processes

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory but Appreciated)

• Experience or familiarity with PIM platforms, preferably Salsify
• Knowledge of the ETIM standard for product classification
• Experience with digital content management tools (CMS, DAM, ERP, SQL, etc.)
