What you'll do

1. Understand the customer’s business processes and needs;
2. Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and user stories;
3. Lead the technical implementation and product configuration;
4. Design efficient SQL relational databases to support data storage and retrieval, ensuring optimized performance and scalability for our FSM solutions;
5. Design and implement APIs to facilitate seamless communication and integration across different components of the FSM solutions, ensuring interoperability and ease of use for our customers;
6. Manage optimization techniques to enhance software efficiency, robustness, flexibility, and scalability;
7. Design and execute technical and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.

What you'll need

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
2. 3-5 years of proven experience in software development, with a focus on designing and implementing complex software solutions;
3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
4. Proficiency in Java programming language;
5. In-depth understanding of SQL databases, including designing efficient relational models, writing optimized SQL queries, and performing database optimization techniques;
6. Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services;
7. Experience in organizing and managing laboratory work, including handling potential issues and ensuring efficient workflow management;
8. Skills in optimizing Oracle queries for enhanced performance and efficiency;
9. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Atlassian Jira/Confluence) and experience working in Agile development environments, including participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives;
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
11. Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends relevant to software development and field service management;
12. Fluent English, written and spoken.

What’s nice to have

1. Basic knowledge of key-value and document databases.
2. Experience in designing distributed architectures, such as microservices or SOA, ensuring key qualities like availability, reliability, along with consistency.
3. Good understanding of asynchronous communication models, including publish-subscribe and request-response.
4. Experience with APM tools (preferably Dynatrace).
