Job summary

Alfasigma, a global healthcare company headquartered in Italy, seeks a Senior Specialist, Global IT Supply Chain with strong SAP SD and Order-to-Cash expertise to support delivery and invoicing processes across regions.

You will act as IT functional reference for SAP SD, manage end-to-end scenarios, coordinate external partners, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance in pharma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years IT experience, ideally in pharma or regulated industries.
• Strong functional experience with SAP SD and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Proven experience with O2C, Intercompany, Consignment and Returns.
• Good understanding of integration between SAP SD, MM, FI/CO and warehouse/logistics.
• Experience in requirements analysis, functional design, testing and implementation.
• Ability to work with global, cross-functional teams and coordinate external partners.
• Experience in project and change management and process harmonization.

Responsibilities

• Act as the IT functional reference for SAP SD and Order-to-Cash.
• Manage end-to-end business scenarios including O2C, Delivery, Billing, Intercompany, Consignment and Returns.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Logistics and Finance to translate requirements into IT solutions.
• Coordinate external IT partners and system integrators for timely, quality delivery.
• Support functional design, testing, deployment and post-go-live activities.
• Contribute to the Global IT Supply Chain application roadmap and documentation.

Scope of the role:

We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Global IT Supply Chain with strong experience in SAP Sales & Distribution and Order-to-Cash processes.

The role will act as a key IT reference for the Sales & Distribution domain, supporting the evolution, harmonization and continuous improvement of global Supply Chain processes and applications.

Your Role

• Act as the IT functional reference for SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Manage and support end-to-end business scenarios including:
• Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• Delivery and Shipping
• Billing and Invoicing
• Intercompany Sales
• Consignment
• Customer Returns
• Pricing and Credit Management
• Partner with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Logistics and Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.
• Manage application demand, enhancements, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure effective integration between SAP SD and MM, FI/CO, WM/EWM and relevant external applications.
• Promote process harmonization and adoption of SAP standard capabilities across countries and business units.
• Coordinate external IT partners and system integrators, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Support functional design, testing, deployment and post-go-live activities.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Global IT Supply Chain application roadmap.
• Ensure appropriate application documentation and compliance with applicable requirements in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in international SAP rollouts or transformation programs.
• Familiarity with integration between SAP and external logistics or warehouse platforms.
• Experience with integration scenarios between SAP SD and CRM platforms, including customer master data, sales orders, pricing and order-to-cash processes
• Strong Knowledge of pharmaceutical Supply Chain and distribution processes for serialized products. (5)

Who are you:

• 5-10 years of experience in IT, preferably within pharmaceutical, life sciences or other regulated industries.
• Strong functional experience with SAP SD and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Proven experience with O2C, Intercompany, Consignment and Returns scenarios.
• Good understanding of integration between SAP SD, MM, FI/CO and warehouse/logistics processes.
• Experience in business requirements analysis, functional design, testing and implementation.
• Experience in application management and coordination of external IT partners.
• Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
