Position Summary
You will be part of Nestlé Waters Engineering HUB EU located in Acqua Panna Factory, responsible for delivering engineering projects by standardizing processes and managing capital investments. In this role, you will plan the technical side of an investment project ensuring a design for manufacturing excellence (free of waste) and lead the execution (from project charter to vertical start-up) by managing a cross-functional team overseeing capital investments related to the company's fixed assets. This may involve relocating and optimizing existing fixed assets and/or purchasing new ones.

Your typical day:

1. Support the End-to-End Project Manager in defining the project team, project scope, success criteria, and milestone deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
2. Ensure the safety of workers and operators during both the construction and ongoing operation of the plant.
3. Leverage feedback from previous projects to prevent waste and optimize execution.
4. Utilize Category standards and best practices in the design to enable Manufacturing Excellence by leading the Target Setting Allocation exercise for bottleneck and critical equipment.
5. Lead the team and coordinate contributions from all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the fixed asset side of the project is implemented according to defined standards, timing, cost, and quality.
6. Coordinate efforts with the start-up manager and their team to ensure a Vertical Start-up.
7. Act as the engineering project team leader by integrating, motivating, providing feedback, coaching, developing, managing, and evaluating team members while being their support and liaison with the steering committee and all project stakeholders.
