Autoware, part of Coesia, in Vicenza (Italy) seeks an MES Software Engineer to implement, develop, configure, install and maintain application components for customers. You will provide technical and application support per contract specs and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

You will deliver project components on time, communicate deviations promptly, collaborate with the team, and document code and manuals while supporting remote customers under maintenance contracts, including

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with AVEVA suite and SQL Server is required.
• Pharma or cosmetic sector experience is a plus.

About the Role

The MES Software Engineer is responsible for implementing, developing, configuring, installing, and maintaining application components built for customers. This role provides technical and application support services in accordance with contractual specifications and is integral to delivering high-quality engineering solutions to our client base.

In this role you are responsible for

• Deliver assigned project components on time and to agreed quality standards
• Identify issues and potential deviations from project scope and communicate them promptly
• Provide regular progress updates to the Technical Lead and/or Project Manager, escalating problems as needed
• Actively collaborate with all members of the development team to ensure project cohesion
• Install and configure commercially available hardware and software products for customer deployments
• Research and gather information required to complete assigned technical tasks
• Document source code and draft technical documentation, including user manuals and developer guides
• Provide remote technical support to customers under active maintenance contracts, including on-call coverage as defined in the on-call agreement
• When traveling to customer sites, maintain complete documentation of work performed and associated expenses

What You Need to Be Successful

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered

• Knowledge of AVEVA Work Tasks and AVEVA MES
• KnowledgeofTraksysplatform and experience with SQL Server and C#
• Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS
