Position Overview

This position is responsible for managing all functions within the supply chain for Leather goods, RTW, Lifestyle accessories, Footwear, Materials, and Quality for all European manufacturing. The role requires interaction with multiple cross-functional partners, overseas offices, and suppliers. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be highly organized, and communicate clearly. The responsibilities include planning and directing all aspects of the organization’s supply chain objectives and initiatives, while supervising daily operations to meet KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage all supply chain functions, including production planning, material procurement, outsourcing, and vendor control and selection.
2. Identify needed changes and support change management initiatives to align with organizational and business strategies.
3. Oversee supply chain projects and daily operations to ensure timely delivery within budget.
4. Lead development and production processes for all product categories made in Italy and Europe.
5. Coordinate with demand planning, S&OP, and scheduling to ensure the supply base can meet forecasted demand and performance standards.
6. Govern the Italy sourcing team to achieve set goals.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve customer experience through optimal sourcing, production cost management, and quality control.
8. Identify and implement improvements within supply chain functions.
9. Ensure KPIs such as on-time delivery, defect rates, quality, technical engineering, and costs are met.
10. Lead European sourcing efforts to optimize product and cost strategies, boosting revenue and profit.
11. Develop Italian and European suppliers/factories to meet quality, cost, margin, and delivery targets.
12. Make final decisions on technical issues related to samples, quality, etc.
13. Support the Chief Supply Chain Officer with data analysis, reporting, and project execution involving Italy and Europe.
14. Assist in strategic planning and process streamlining within Italy and European supply chains.
15. Acquire and develop Italy factory expertise to achieve engineering excellence in MCM products.

Requirements

• University degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management and manufacturing leadership.
• Expertise in relevant concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, planning, and project management skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Strategic thinking, systems analysis, and evaluation skills.
• Complex problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of risk management within the supply chain.
• Experience collaborating across departments to resolve system and procedural issues.
