The Role : Our Senior Front Desk Hospitality Agents are the face of Sonder, responsible for creating exceptional first impressions, guiding guests through our technology-rich experience, and ensuring seamless service. This role supports our Front Desk team and involves engaging with guests both in person and digitally, handling guest issues, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Be the welcoming face of Sonder, creating positive first impressions.
  • Assist guests with the Sonder app and self-service features.
  • Communicate effectively with guests to anticipate and meet their needs.
  • Handle guest interactions professionally, resolving issues promptly.
  • Coordinate tasks with front desk staff and remote teams, including training and mentorship.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest and staff areas.
  • Support back-of-house operations, including audits, inventory, and maintenance.
  • Assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support breakfast setup and service where applicable, respecting HACCP standards.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in hospitality, customer service, or related fields; familiarity with communication software like Salesforce.
  • Personable, service-oriented, and positive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive guest service approach.
  • Computer literacy and effective communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Reliable smartphone for work purposes (expenses reimbursed).

Additional Requirements :

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to a vehicle, or willingness to travel between properties using reliable transportation.
