Key Role in Clinical Delivery Services Division

This role is within our Clinical Delivery Services Division, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s newly acquired PPD clinical research organization. It involves providing strategic leadership and management in the operations and resourcing of the business in a complex cross-functional environment. The responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies for continuous process improvement, organizational performance, processes, systems, training, and communications to achieve business goals. The role also offers strategic guidance to staff and directs business strategy and operational efficiency.

The position is fully remote, based anywhere in Europe or the eastern timezone of the USA. Some international travel may be required, up to 10% per annum, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

1. Lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives and teams.
2. Assist Executive Management in developing business roadmaps aligned with future organizational goals.
3. Champion organizational changes and initiatives supporting company objectives.
4. Drive innovation and critical thinking related to delivery, budget, quality, and prioritization.
5. Support the development of group AOP, ensuring project approvals.

Candidate Profile

1. Extensive senior-level Project Management experience in complex international organizations, especially with change programs.
2. Background in CRO, pharma, life sciences, or related business consultancy.
3. Knowledge of cross-functional project management principles (Time, Quality, Cost).
4. Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, and formal change management methods.
5. Skilled in process improvement, strategic development, and clinical trial management.
6. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent executive presence, consultation, and presentation skills.
8. Proven negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
9. Track record in driving corporate strategies to engage and retain customers.
10. Advanced English proficiency.

• Estimated salary range in Ireland: €136,500 - €204,750.
