- The job
As a member of the Protein Diagnostics (PDX) leadership team, you will lead the global Market & Strategy function supporting our product lines. You will oversee long-term planning, drive business growth through marketing initiatives, and collaborate with marketing and data science teams to provide insights and strategic direction.
Alternatively, this role can be based out of various European offices (office-based, not remote), with regular travel to our Birmingham, UK office (weekly or bi-weekly). Frequent international travel (mainly UK, Europe, and US) up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays, will be required.
- What will you do?
- Drive planning, strategy execution, marketing, and communication activities for the division.
- Support the division’s growth in a complex and evolving market.
- Lead and develop a team of strategy and marketing professionals, including managers and project teams.
- Foster cross-functional partnerships to achieve business results and align internal communications on key growth initiatives.
- Demonstrate authentic leadership behaviors and serve as a role model.
- Who we are looking for
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in In-vitro Diagnostics (IVD) and/or Life Sciences industries, including equipment and consumables in bioproduction, is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading a global marketing team, with knowledge of European and US IVD/Life Sciences markets.
- Broad marketing expertise, including multi-channel, digital, product marketing, and product management.
- Experience developing and implementing marketing strategies to meet growth targets, using data-driven metrics.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing managers and developing talent.
- Ability to work effectively in a heavily matrixed environment with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills, capable of balancing short-term results with long-term strategic goals.
- Executive presence and excellent presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%, including international travel.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
