We are now recruiting for a dynamic, passionate, and driven Senior Brand & Customer Manager who will be critical in leading and implementing the strategy for a new drug targeting Pulmonary Hypertension, with an initial focus on Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH).

PAH is a rare disease associated with high morbidity and mortality, impacting patients and their loved ones. Despite numerous approved therapies, unmet needs persist, and there is a consensus among payers, clinicians, and patients that more treatment options are necessary to improve disease management.

The Senior Brand & Customer Manager will play a key role in supporting the success of the Specialty Business, contributing to the commercial transformation and leadership of our product launch. This includes adopting new ways of working, integrating advanced analytics, evolving commercial models, and creating value for patients, payers, and healthcare professionals.

This is a high-visibility role reporting to the Business Unit Specialty Marketing Director.

Priorities, Primary Activities, and Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans, adapting global strategies to local regulations and market needs, with a deep understanding of the market environment and therapeutic area specifics.
  • Coordinate high-quality, integrated cross-functional brand plans and ensure flawless execution of the product brand plan.
  • Create and implement promotional and non-promotional materials and programs as appropriate.
  • Design and develop digital communication strategies with a multi-channel approach to maximize brand communication through a blended model.
  • Incorporate innovative activities into marketing plans.
  • Establish clear KPIs to monitor product performance.
  • Forecast sales and demand considering the product lifecycle, market environment, and strategic goals.
  • Manage promotional budgets efficiently to maximize ROI, respecting product strategy and company guidelines.
  • Ensure all projects align with global strategies and support franchise-wide goals where applicable.
Internal Relationships:
  • Serve as the main contact for the sales force regarding product queries within the therapy area, effectively communicating benefits and incorporating feedback into the brand plan.
  • Lead the cross-functional Brand Team to ensure effective collaboration across key functions.
  • Brief sales and internal teams on brand and promotional strategies and materials.
  • Collaborate with Medical, Customer Engagement, and Medical Legal teams to develop materials.
  • Liaise with global colleagues and represent Italy in regional and global meetings.
Customer Relationships:
  • Demonstrate value to stakeholders and extend access to products addressing unmet medical needs by building and maintaining strong business relationships with key customers.
  • Understand customer perspectives thoroughly and develop solutions to meet their needs and improve patient outcomes, including HCP and patient education initiatives.
Business Operations:
  • Collaborate proactively with supporting functions such as Sales, Customer Insight and Analytics, Market Access, Medical, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs to align and implement business plans effectively.
  • Manage promotional budgets daily to optimize effectiveness and compliance.
  • Adopt a mindset of continuous improvement in all business activities.
  • Contribute to the annual profit plan and long-term operational plans.
  • Make rapid, compliant decisions responsive to market changes.
  • Lead and perform with high ethical standards, respecting industry rules and regulations.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
  • University degree from an accredited university; an MBA is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of relevant pharmaceutical marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of the PAH market is a plus.
  • Experience in support functions and international exposure is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of brand and customer marketing, including multichannel communication; sales and account management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with supporting functions, global teams, and sales force.
  • Robust analytical and financial skills to synthesize insights, oversee brand forecasts, and manage budgets.
