Job Description: Senior Business Development Manager / Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

The Sr. BD Manager/BD Manager will be part of the Italian Business Development Department, serving as a key reference point for the team, supporting the development and execution of the PV and BESS pipeline in Italy (~3 GW PV, including 400+ MW with positive EIA, and over 10 GWh BESS).

  • Lead all necessary steps in project development processes from initial stages to NTP, including secondary permitting.
  • Coordinate with other functions to secure project financing, procurement, and routes-to-market before construction begins.
  • Ensure the economic viability of projects using financial models and assumptions; lead the Investment Committee approval process.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as public entities, DNO & TSO, development or JV partners, local communities, and advisors.
  • Build new relationships within utilities, municipalities, and partners to expand the project portfolio.
  • Stay informed on market developments, regulatory changes, and industry news to identify opportunities or issues.
  • Proven experience in the Italian PV and BESS markets.
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks and permitting processes at national and regional levels.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with top executives.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality outputs on time.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
