Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history : 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano / Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

The new resource will be involved in the following activities :

  • Support the collection and validation of Milano Cortina 2026 Function request of sport information for planning purposes.
  • Coordinate with Sport Competition on the collection and validation of centralized requests for planning information from other Functions.
  • Validate and update key sport information within the Milano Cortina 2026 Data Warehouse and other source of truth documents.
  • Assist with Sport Workforce planning for Games-time, providing project support to the rest of the Sport team on related deliverables.
  • Assist the project manager for the event testing calendar to develop related documentation including presentations, calendars and other calendar tracking documents.
  • Support the roll-out and development of Sport Delivery Plans (SDPs) in collaboration with IF Relations team.
  • Coordinate Sport Manager input into Games-time IF Services plans for technical officials, including accommodation, transport, air travel, and other services.
  • Track and map out expenses across IF Site Visits for budget planning purposes within the Sport team.
  • Support and track updates to Sport’s master schedule and milestones.
  • Coordinate Sport updates, presentations and reports to be used internally and externally to communicate progress and issues within the Sport department.
  • Organize the Sport Planning and Operations weekly team meetings, managing the team calendar and project updates.
  • Organize Milano Cortina 2026 cross-functional meetings and external stakeholder webinars, creating invitations, agendas, tracking attendance and updating presentations
  • Maintain Sport’s SharePoint site and coordinate the organization of key Sport documents and version control.
  • Provide team support for the administration of legal and finance documents.
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3-years of strategic planning and operational roles within Sport delivery.
  • Experience in previous Organizing Committees of the Olympic Games (OCOG) is preferred.
  • Deep understanding and expertise within international Sport as well as international sport governing bodies.
  • Sport business operation experience and exposure at all levels, including professional leagues or teams, federations, universities, and grassroots.
  • Experience working with senior executives across multiple functional areas.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues.
  • Fluent working with Office suite products including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter with experience in defining tasks, seeking feedback, and evolving work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a close team environment.
  • Proven ability of building good interpersonal relationships with people across the organization, while balancing assertiveness with diplomacy.
  • A collaborative mindset : someone who prioritizes the team and fosters a culture of high performance without ego.
  • Ability to implement and manage change effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.
  • English Proficiency Level is considered mandatory (other languages will be considered a plus).
