Your Mission

• Assist in origination, negotiation, structuring, and completion of project financings and other structured transactions based on ring-fenced cash flows and assets to contribute towards departmental budgets.
• Support marketing efforts to customers, prospective customers, and banks with the goal of business generation, including preparing pitch books.
• Analyze new transactions to assess viability, prepare initial risk analysis, and collaborate with Risk Office in a cross-functional deal team in line with Credit Process. Review credit applications prepared by Risk Office.
• Ensure fulfillment of all required processes associated with deal origination and execution.
• Support transaction structuring, negotiate term sheets, and review relevant transaction documentation, liaising internally as appropriate.
• Organize and manage the due diligence process.
• Assist in originating cross-sell opportunities and liaise with product desks regarding funding and cross-selling of hedging or other products.
• Support the Syndications Department with the sale of loan assets and the production of information memoranda.
• Conduct research, write reports, and maintain files, statistics on technologies, countries, sectors, transactions, and clients.
• Undertake special projects, including assisting in preparing the annual departmental budget and developing business strategies.
• Liaise with relevant divisions to facilitate opportunities between Project Finance and other areas.
• Contribute to industry reports and market development insights.
• Perform other duties as assigned within your skills and abilities.

Your Skills

• University education in Economics, Business Administration, Law, or banking with additional qualifications.
• 3-5 years of experience in project/structured finance or banking with broad knowledge of financing structures.
• Negotiation skills and experience in structuring and executing project finance transactions, familiar with project and loan agreements.
• Strong financial modeling skills, proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of the renewable energy sector.
• Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Risk assessment skills and ability to design mitigation measures.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines, high motivation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
