Your Mission

• Assist in origination, negotiation, structuring, and completion of project financings and other structured transactions based on ring-fenced cash flows and assets to contribute towards departmental budgets.
• Support marketing efforts to customers, prospective customers, and banks with the aim of business generation, including preparing pitch books. Assist with developing new customer groups and increasing customer potential in collaboration with customer advisors.
• Ensure fulfillment of all processes related to deal origination and execution.
• Support transaction structuring, including negotiating term sheets and reviewing all relevant transaction documentation, liaising internally as appropriate.
• Organize and manage the due diligence process.
• Assist in originating cross-sell opportunities and coordinate with product desks regarding funding and hedging products.
• Support the Syndications Department with the sale of loan assets and production of information memoranda.
• Conduct research, write reports, and maintain files and statistics on technologies, countries, sectors, transactions, and clients.
• Undertake special projects, including assisting in preparing the annual departmental budget and business strategy development.
• Liaise with relevant divisions to facilitate opportunities in Project Finance.
• Contribute to industry reports and market development insights.

Your Skills

• University education in Economics, Business Administration, Law, or banking with additional qualifications preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in project/structured finance or banking, with broad knowledge of financing structures.
• Negotiation experience with project parties and familiarity with project and loan agreements.
• Strong financial modeling skills, proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of the renewable energy sector.
• Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Risk assessment skills with ability to design mitigation measures.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines with high motivation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
