Job Description

The Specialist, Content Translation is responsible for translating English language content according to all relevant standards and guidelines, using target-group-specific tone and style. This position creates effective learning and development content from one spoken or written language to another.

• Translates English-language eLearning, instructor-led training, video narration, and email communications for non-English-speaking audiences.
• Conducts quality analysis of translations completed by internal staff and vendors to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of words used.
• Creates non-English subtitle files for use with eLearning and video content.
• Records and edits audio narration for non-English-speaking audiences.
• Provides estimated timelines for translation projects to project team, manager, and stakeholders; executes to those timelines.
• Participates in project activities / meetings as requested for updates / metrics / evaluation purposes.
• Supports translation efforts for other teams / initiatives when needed.
