Qascom in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, is seeking a Security Software Engineer to join the Security Engineering division. You will contribute to design, development, testing and implementation of security software for space missions and governmental services.

This role covers security protocol design, architectures and cryptographic solutions, with involvement in ESA and ASI projects and collaboration with major industry players.

Competenze

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering.
• 2+ years of work experience as a software developer and designer in relevant domains.
• Experience in design and development of multi-threaded software systems.
• Knowledge of applied cryptography.
• Solid understanding of software design principles.
• Knowledge of Rust or C++.
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Design, develop, test, and deploy space and ground systems focusing on key management and security services.
• Support System Engineering with requirements analysis and flow-down.
• Draft technical documentation compliant with ECSS, GSWS, CCSDS standards.
• Perform Security Risk Analysis and Assessment.
