Qascom seeks a Security Software Engineer to join the Security Engineering division in Bassano del Grappa, Italy. You will design, develop, test, and deploy secure space and ground systems with emphasis on key management and cryptographic services.

Responsibilities include supporting Systems Engineering, drafting documentation to ECSS/GSWS/CCSDS standards, and performing security risk analyses. Bachelor/Master in CS/Cybersecurity/CE and 2+ years in multi-threaded development are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering.
• 2+ years as a software developer in relevant domains.
• Experience in multi-threaded software systems.
• Knowledge of applied cryptography.
• Good written and spoken English.

Qascom is looking for a Security Software Engineer to join our Security Engineering division in Bassano del Grappa (VI) Italy.

What you will work on:

Design, development, testing, and deployment of space and ground systems, with particular focus on key management, telecommunication protocols for space applications, applied cryptography, and security services of satellite systems.

Support to the System Engineering, including but not limited to requirements analysis, identification, and flow-down.

Drafting of technical documentation in compliance to relevant standards (e.g. ECSS, GSWS, CCSDS, etc.)

Security Risk Analysis and Assessment.

What do you need:

Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering.

2+ years of work experience as a software developer and designer in relevant domains (complex or networked software systems).

Professional experience in the design and development of multi‐threaded software systems.

Knowledge of applied cryptography(even if academic).

Solid understanding of software design principles.

Knowledge of Rust or C++ program languages;

Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
