WHAT YOU’LL DO

Seakeeper's units are primarily installed on new boats, with a significant portion sold to European customers. As the Southern European OEM Account Manager, you will bring the Seakeeper experience to new boat owners by working closely with our shipyard (OEM) partners. Your goal will be to increase the number of boats offering Seakeeper as an option and boost option uptake. You will build relationships with existing OEMs and seek new partners who are not yet offering Seakeeper. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and expanding business within the Southern European recreational, commercial, and military boating segments.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with OEMs, including purchase and project managers, and industry professionals.
  • Introducing new Seakeeper models to the Southern European OEM market.
  • Engaging with targeted OEM boat builders and shipyard accounts, staying informed on new opportunities and project developments.
  • Monitoring industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Providing regular reports on market conditions, project developments, and sales performance to management.
  • Completing quarterly outlooks, opportunities, and meeting results, and updating the European OEM Sales Manager on activities and strategies.
  • Collaborating with Revenue and Logistics teams to ensure smooth payments and shipments, facilitating interdepartmental communication for timely deliveries.
  • Preparing sales forecasts and strategies, leveraging the strengths of the European team.
  • Attending events, sea trials, and boat shows regionally and internationally.
  • Organizing Seakeeper sea trials for Naval Architects, OEM dealers, Brokers, and Charter companies.
  • Working with Seakeeper Factory Technical Representatives and the Marketing team to provide updates, support OEM marketing plans, and develop territory marketing strategies and budgets.

MUST-HAVES

  • Minimum 3 years of international sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Valid passport and availability for domestic and international travel.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian (verbal and written).
  • Hands-on sales experience with awareness of industry trends.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy, charisma, and a persistent attitude.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office.

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience in marine industry sales or with international OEM accounts.
  • Fluency in French.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • This is a remote position, with up to 50% travel, including to our regional office in Lavagna, Italy, and supporting shows and events across Europe.
  • The territory includes Italy, France, Portugal, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Malta, and Cyprus.
  • You will report to the European OEM Sales Manager in Liguria, Italy.
