What you will do

We are seeking for a Technical Promoter for the Southern Italy area. Reporting to the division manager, the resource's objective is to promote the company's products and solutions at the most important design studios and specialised plant engineering companies, supporting the activity of the sales network.

The key responsibilities will include :

  • Scouting for the main mechanical design firms operating in the HVAC sector, management of subsequent relations and technical-sales support.
  • Defining appropriate strategies for the inclusion of products in specifications also through the dissemination of appropriate documents (functional diagrams, specification items, etc.) useful for the purpose.
  • Promoting, alongside or even independently, the products in the catalogue through visits to companies specialised in HVAC systems, technical structures of public bodies, construction companies and more generally to operators in the reference market.
  • Organising and conducting technical training meetings with customers, designers and decision makers.
  • Providing technical support to colleagues in the internal sales team, agencies in the reference territory and colleagues in the pre-sales department.
  • Accompanying colleagues on sales visits to installers and supporting the network throughout the sales process.
  • Study and use product selection software to identify the most suitable design solution for the customer's needs.
  • Hold courses at sales agencies to improve their sales skills and at customers to increase commercial penetration within their facilities.
  • Monitor market developments for the development of new products.

What you need to succeed

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Energy or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Preferable background in the HVAC sector, with particular reference to direct expansion.
  • Experience (at least 1 year) in the same role (or similar) for companies active in the plant engineering sector or alternatively in technical studies dealing with thermotechnical design.
  • Mastery of AutoCAD, Full Office and Adobe Acrobat PRO.
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English (i.e. ability to hold technical and commercial conversations in oral or written form with colleagues, customers and partners).
