- Drive the implementation of business development strategies across Italy and originate and close new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Proven track record in a business development or sales role, achieving sales in a demanding environment.
- Extensive experience with CCTV and associated technologies, or similar market segment, particularly presenting relevant solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
- Ability to work independently to understand customer needs, define solutions, and create professional commercial proposals for system integrators and end-users.
- Knowledge of the electronic security market, main channels, and potential customers within IT & Networking.
- Previous experience working for a CCTV manufacturer is beneficial but not essential.
- Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and their topology.
- Business or technical degree level education is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Motivated to positively impact the market and enhance brand recognition.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and key clients.
- Independent thinking and sound judgment.
- Motivational skills to lead teams to achieve targets.
- Team player with successful team experience.
- Logical, well-organized, with attention to detail.
- Proactive problem solver.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently.
- Strong project management, product planning, and communication skills, capable of presenting to board-level and communicating clearly at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English and at least one local European language.
- Valid driving license.
Location: This is a field-based role, ideally based in South Italy. Extensive travel within Italy is expected, with occasional travel outside Italy.
