Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of business development strategies across Italy and originate and close new business opportunities.

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Proven track record in a business development or sales role, achieving sales in a demanding environment.
  • Extensive experience with CCTV and associated technologies, or similar market segment, particularly presenting relevant solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
  • Ability to work independently to understand customer needs, define solutions, and create professional commercial proposals for system integrators and end-users.
  • Knowledge of the electronic security market, main channels, and potential customers within IT & Networking.
  • Previous experience working for a CCTV manufacturer is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and their topology.
  • Business or technical degree level education is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Motivated to positively impact the market and enhance brand recognition.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and key clients.
  • Independent thinking and sound judgment.
  • Motivational skills to lead teams to achieve targets.
  • Team player with successful team experience.
  • Logical, well-organized, with attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem solver.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Strong project management, product planning, and communication skills, capable of presenting to board-level and communicating clearly at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English and at least one local European language.
  • Valid driving license.

Location: This is a field-based role, ideally based in South Italy. Extensive travel within Italy is expected, with occasional travel outside Italy.
