BriefCam, a Canon Group company since 2018 and a market leader in advanced video analytics, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) based in Italy, focusing mainly on the Italian and Spanish markets. The role involves leading and developing the regions and potentially other European countries. The successful candidate will join a growing and dynamic team and will be responsible for continued sales growth in the region. They will leverage their existing network of consultants, systems integrators, and technology partners to seek out, qualify, and close new business opportunities, managing a pipeline of public and private sector opportunities.

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in relevant markets
  • Excellent Italian and English language skills – a must
  • French and Spanish language skills – an advantage
  • Proven track record of selling complex video surveillance and security software solutions, ideally video analytics
  • Solution selling experience is an important advantage
  • Thorough understanding of the latest technology, market trends, and customer needs in the surveillance arena
  • Strong contacts with local system integrators, consultants, and technology partners
  • Hunter sales mindset with the ability to identify, nurture, and close large enterprise-level business
  • Experience selling into Law Enforcement and Public Safety sectors – an advantage
  • Experience selling into Retail, Transportation, Education, etc. – an advantage
  • Experience working with companies like Axis, Milestone, Genetec – an advantage
  • Experience working in small entities within an internationally managed team – an advantage
  • Experience with reporting platforms like Salesforce – an advantage
  • Knowledge of other modern work management apps
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite – a must
