AWS EMEA SARL (Italy Branch) is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to build trusted technical relationships with SMB customers in Italy, guiding them through security, cost, performance, and reliability improvements as they migrate to the cloud.

You will lead deep architectural conversations, deliver training sessions, and share best practices while representing the voice of the customer to influence AWS roadmaps. Fluency in Italian and strong collaboration with sales are required.

Competenze

• Solid experience in design/implementation/management of complex distributed IT applications and infrastructure or database architectures
• Awareness of cloud computing benefits, concepts and principles; software development tools and methodologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across internal and external organizations
• Demonstrated ability to continuously adapt to new technologies and trends and learn new skills quickly

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Speak, write, and read fluently in Italian

Description

As a Solutions Architect at AWS, you’ll build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey. You’ll manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects. Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features. In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases. You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. whitepapers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences). If you can educate AWS customers about the art of the possible, while challenging the impossible, come build the future with us. This role is within the EMEA SMB organization and you would be working with Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) customers in Italy.

Basic Qualifications

• Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS or another cloud platform


• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries


• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud


• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective


• Bachelor’s degree, or MBA in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
