Job Description

In your role as a Solution Architect, you will help to:

  • Facilitate and guide projects to ensure alignment between business and technology.
  • Supervise and direct large-scale client engagements on overall technological architecture.
  • Ensure re-use and scaling of our knowledge and methods.
  • Share, train, and orchestrate to map client needs to Merkle capabilities.

What will be your role?

You will act as a bridge translating business requirements into products and technical functions. You will take ownership of client solutions across teams and technologies throughout the full project lifecycle. During delivery, you will connect customer staff and internal groups to ensure client needs are met with our organization's skills and capabilities.

Internally, you will help provide assets and knowledge transfer to support the growth and scalability of our offerings and the solution architecture practice.

  • Qualifications
  • You have an excellent understanding of modern and appropriate technologies for Customer Experience and hands-on experience with eCommerce and/or CMS projects in a corporate/enterprise context for 5+ years.
  • You possess knowledge of topics like integration, search, security, scalability, operations, or similar, with a focus on complex and heterogeneous architectures.
  • You have an initial understanding of how to design solution architectures that support clients in delivering transformative customer experiences.
  • You are a strong communicator: comfortable dealing with customers, leading topics, developing buy-in, and engaging across organizational units.
  • You can speak the language of both businesspersons and technologists.
  • You demonstrate leadership skills in orchestrating and resolving inter-program and cross-functional topics.
  • You have strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
