Who You’ll become
A Solution Advisor works closely with our customers and prospects to identify and solve business challenges and meet their strategic objectives using SAP solutions. As part of the sales team, a Solution Advisor is the “subject matter expert” responsible for functional and technical knowledge within the sales cycle. A Solution Advisor provides deal support by participating in discovery sessions, executive meetings, and presentations, and delivers software demonstrations that help the customer understand SAP’s unique value proposition. In addition to deal support, the Solution Advisor participates in marketing events to generate demand, leads Design Thinking sessions, and collaborates with the broader sales team to identify whitespace opportunities at existing accounts.
What You’ll Do
As a Solution Advisor within the SAP Academy for Customer Success, you will be responsible for:
The program will enrich your knowledge of SAP and provide professional experience to serve our customers. We offer full-time employment from day one with practical learning applications. After successful completion, you are expected to lead customer discovery sessions, survey activities to uncover business challenges, and identify opportunities for innovation. You will create and deliver impactful software demonstrations to persuade customers to choose SAP over competitors. You will also support demand generation through marketing events and assist in deal execution by responding to RFPs.
Solution areas focus :
SAP Finance & Spend Management (F&S) – Knowledge in accounting, procurement, and supplier management, focusing on visibility, cost reduction, and efficiency (Accounting, finance, quote-to-cash, procurement, supplier management)
SAP SuccessFactors (Human Capital Management - HCM) - Knowledge in core HR, payroll, talent management, employee experience, HR analytics, workforce planning, and sales performance management
SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) - Knowledge in supply chain, asset management, manufacturing, logistics, or product and project lifecycle management
SAP Customer Experience (CX) - Knowledge of e-commerce, sales, customer service, and marketing processes
SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM) - Knowledge in Business Process Management / Automation applications and architecture
SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) - Knowledge in database and data management, analytics, application development, integration, and intelligent technologies including AI. Understanding of integration, application, data, infrastructure, and security domains.

SAP’s flexible hybrid work model typically involves three days a week in the office or on-site with customers or partners, according to local guidelines.
There will be a practical, immersive component, likely involving four weeks in San Ramon, California, spread across two trips, to provide hands-on learning and networking.
During critical phases, participants must be fully engaged; vacation requests may be restricted during these times.
