Who You’ll become
A Solution Advisor works closely with customers and prospects to identify and solve business challenges and meet strategic objectives using SAP solutions. As part of the sales team, a Solution Advisor is the subject matter expert responsible for functional and technical knowledge within the sales cycle. They provide deal support through discovery sessions, executive meetings, presentations, and software demonstrations to illustrate SAP’s value. They also participate in marketing events, lead Design Thinking sessions, and collaborate with the sales team to identify whitespace opportunities.
What You’ll Do
As a Solution Advisor in the SAP Academy for Customer Success, your responsibilities include:
The program enriches your SAP knowledge and provides professional experience. It offers full-time employment from day one with practical learning. After completion, you will lead customer discovery sessions, create impactful software demonstrations, support demand generation through marketing events, and assist in deal execution.
Solution areas focus:
SAP Finance & Spend Management (F&S) – Knowledge in accounting, procurement, and supplier management to enhance visibility, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
SAP SuccessFactors (Human Capital Management - HCM) – Knowledge in core HR, payroll, talent management, employee experience, HR analytics, workforce planning, and sales performance management.
SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) – Knowledge in supply chain, asset management, manufacturing, logistics, or product and project lifecycle management.
SAP Customer Experience (CX) – Knowledge of e-commerce, sales, customer service, and marketing processes.
SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM) – Knowledge in business process management and automation applications and architecture.
SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) – Knowledge in data management, analytics, application development, integration, intelligent technologies, and AI, including understanding of technology domains like integration, data, infrastructure, and security.

SAP’s hybrid work setup typically involves three days a week in the office or on-site with customers or partners, with plans for a four-week in-person experience in San Ramon, California, likely spread across two trips. The final decision on this component will be confirmed by Q1 2026. During critical phases, full engagement is required, and vacation may be restricted.
