Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Sole Chef to join a 40m+ Private / Charter motor yacht

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Sole Chef to join a healthy, positive and professional crew.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals with a focus on healthy, family style meals
• Manage inventory, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and fresh.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring cleanliness in the galley.
• Plan and prepare meals according to preferences and dietary requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Valid F&HL2 STCW, ENG1, and other relevant certifications.
• A strong understanding of yacht kitchen operations and handling large quantities of food.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently, maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt to varying schedules.
• SCHENGEN visa or equivalent and B1 / B2 preferred

Culinary trained and Ships cook certificate

Salary : 6500 Euro

Leave : 60 days

Vessel Program and itinerary : Med cruising before heading to the US
