Job Overview

The Italian Solar PV Project Delivery Manager will oversee the construction and operational phases of solar PV projects, focusing on risk assessment during development and EPC activities for projects in Italy.

This role involves supporting development and EPC phases, monitoring permitting, engineering, procurement, and construction activities, and ensuring project objectives are met. Responsibilities include managing EPC agreements, permits, site visits, and attending construction meetings. The ideal candidate should have an MSc in Engineering, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint, and an interest in PV data metrics.

This position suits a detail-oriented, proactive individual eager to grow within a dynamic team environment.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate technical support to EPC contractors and external advisors.
  2. Act as the primary technical liaison with grid operators (ENEL / TERNA).
  3. Coordinate with local authorities for permits.
  4. Work with external consultants and project developers on authorization processes.
  5. Monitor project progress and prepare reports.
  6. Optimize technical layouts for PV plants.
  7. Prepare technical documentation for authorization and construction readiness.
  8. Manage permits and ensure compliance during construction.
  9. Oversee documentation and approvals during construction.
  10. Support acquisition of additional permits as needed.

Requirements

  • Master's in Electrical Civil Engineering or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience in solar project development/construction.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the energy sector.
  • Understanding of renewable energy, especially Solar PV.
  • Knowledge of MV/HV grid connection regulations in Italy.
  • Ability to work independently, report to EPC director, and travel within Italy.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
