Job Overview:
- Drive the growth of the Solar Module sales business by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Conduct regional market analysis, focusing on supply/demand trends, government policies, competitors’ activities, and performance of key distributors and installers.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential partners, including distributors, installers, and consultants, with tailored strategies for each.
- Establish and meet quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive sales initiatives.
- Support marketing efforts for regional campaigns such as exhibitions, presentations, and product launches.
- Prepare regular sales reports for management, tracking progress against goals.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and organizational input to shape product strategy and roadmap in the PV module segment.
- Engage with industry players to understand their needs and align our offerings accordingly.
- Develop proposals for customer tenders, ensuring technical and commercial optimization.
- Identify new market segments and opportunities for product expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to align on product delivery and schedules.
- Participate in product design reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams for product launches and rollouts.
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in the solar module industry, working with manufacturers or selling to developers and EPCs.
- Proven sales and business development skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and customer needs.
- Ability to define product guidelines and see initiatives through.
- Understanding of financial reports, budgets, and expenditures.
- Sales-driven, proactive, and competitive mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel 50-60% of the time.
- Proficiency in English and the local language.
