Job Overview:
- Drive the growth of the Solar Module sales business by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Conduct regional market analysis focusing on supply/demand trends, government policies, competitors’ activities, and the performance of key distributors and installers.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential partners including distributors, installers, and consultants, with tailored strategies for each.
- Establish and meet quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive sales initiatives.
- Support marketing efforts for regional campaigns such as exhibitions, presentations, and product launches.
- Prepare sales reports for management review, tracking progress against goals.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and input from across the organization to help shape product strategy in the PV module segment.
- Engage with key industry players to understand their needs and align our offerings accordingly.
- Develop customized proposals for customer tenders, ensuring technical and commercial optimization.
- Identify new market segments and opportunities for product expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to align on product delivery and schedules.
- Participate in product design reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to oversee product launches and rollouts.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years in the solar module industry, with experience working with manufacturers or selling to developers and EPCs.
- Sales & Business Development: Proven ability to generate sales and develop opportunities.
- Procurement & Customer Relations: Familiarity with procurement processes and crafting aligned responses.
- Decision Making: Ability to define guidelines, make decisions, and see initiatives through.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgets and product expenditures.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Sales-driven and proactive mindset.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build effective relationships.
- Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills for complex situations.
- Self-Starter: Independent and motivated.
- Organization & Planning: Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English and the local language.
