Position – Software Tester
Vivo Mobile Communication Italy S.r.l. – Milan

Vivo, a leading Chinese multinational in the mobile phone industry, is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Localization Test Engineer to join its local team in Milan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field testing and localization validation of mobile devices
• Support certification processes with local operators
• Collect and analyze user scenarios to improve user experience
• Ensure overall product quality control for the Italian market
• Provide onsite support to operator testing programs
• Report and track bugs using appropriate tools

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the telecom or mobile phone industry
• Solid understanding of the Android OS, mobile testing frameworks, and testing cycles
• Ability to design and execute test plans, test cases, and detailed defect reports
• Experience with tools such as Logcat, QXDM, TestRail, Jira, etc.
• Strong skills in problem solving, logical thinking, and user-centered testing
• Good command of English (B2 level or above); Chinese is a plus
• Familiarity with Italian culture and language
• Previous experience with European telecom operators (especially in Austria or Italy) is a strong advantage
• High sense of responsibility, self-discipline, and willingness to learn
• Advanced Excel and documentation skills
