Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Conduct integration, accessibility, ad-hoc, sanity, and full regression testing across various browsers, devices, and operating systems as part of release cycles

  • Analyze complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system

  • Understand and represent customer needs in product feedback discussions

  • Customer centric mindset to come up with test scenarios that test much more than stated use cases.

  • Participate in release management and post deployment testing

  • Use bug tracking tools to identify, prioritize, and track defects across different platforms.

  • Design test plans, write test cases, and review functional requirement documentation specific to each platform.

  • Work closely with cross functional teams, i.e. web/Android/iOS developers, QAs, product management, and design team to understand platform-specific requirements and to ensure consistent quality standards across platforms.

  • Ensure timely resolution of issues, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years (junior level) or 5 years (senior level) of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing web, Android and/or iOS applications.

  • Proficient in testing methodologies for web, Android and/or iOS.

  • Hands-on experience with testing tools, i.e. charles proxy, Jira.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant certifications in software quality assurance and platform-specific certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Android Certified, iOS Certified).

  • In-depth knowledge of web technologies, Android development, and iOS development.

  • Proven experience in leading QA efforts for multi-platform projects.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Squad development environments for web and mobile applications.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across platforms
