RINA is currently recruiting for a Software Test Engineer to join its office in Genoa within the Materials & Technologies Division.

Mission

Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and automated test scripts.

Key Accountabilities

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications using tools such as TestComplete and Azure DevOps.
• Conduct manual testing ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and resolve bugs to improve software quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum team activities.
• Provide detailed reports on test progress, coverage, and defect status.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation using tools and frameworks, including TestComplete.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Azure DevOps Boards and Test Plans.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering.

Additional Qualifications

• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker / Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Microsoft environment and programming languages such as C#, Visual Studio, SQL, Container.
