Software Quality Assurance Specialist - Digital Payments

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team dedicated to IT applications, embedded systems and fintech. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and monitoring tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software. They will closely collaborate with the development team to identify and address issues promptly and ensure an optimal user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement test plans, including functional, integration, and system tests
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs, anomalies, and performance issues
• Utilize test management tools such as Jira and Xray to track and manage test cases and defects
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues identified during testing and ensure timely resolution
• Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and test coverage
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis for detected defects and provide preventive solutions
• Thoroughly document test results and prepare regular reports on software quality status
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of QA processes and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is a plus)
• Proven experience in the role of QA Specialist, preferably in fintech or embedded domain
• Thorough knowledge of test management tools such as Jira and Xray
• Proficiency in test automation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Additional Preferences

• ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies
