Job summary

Ocrim S.p.a. is seeking a Software Programmer / Traveling Commissioning Technician to join its Electrical Department. The role involves programming for industrial automation, testing and commissioning of turnkey End-of-Line systems, and on-site customer support across Italy and beyond.

You will troubleshoot, train customer personnel during start-up, and travel to client sites domestically and abroad. A technical diploma or degree and English proficiency are required, with travel as a core

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• Basic knowledge of software programming for industrial automation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad, including non-European countries.
• Good command of English.
• Experience in testing/commissioning industrial machinery or plants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in commissioning and operation stages of plant projects.
• Support customers on-site during installation, commissioning and after-sales service.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues at customer sites.
• Provide training to customer personnel during plant start-up.
• Travel to customer sites in Italy and internationally to support deployment.

Software Programmer / Traveling Commissioning Technician

Ocrim is looking for a Software Programmer / Traveling Commissioning Technician to join its Electrical Department, working on turnkey solutions for End-of-Line systems.

In this role, you will be involved in the various stages of plant commissioning and operation, from machinery testing to providing technical support at customer sites. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and for training customer personnel during plant start-up. The position involves traveling to customer sites in Italy and outside Europe, where you will provide technical support during installation, commissioning and after-sales service activities.

Requirements

• Technical high school diploma and/or degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science or automation;
• Basic knowledge of software programming for industrial automation;
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact directly with customers;
• Good command of English;
• Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad, including non-European countries;
• Previous experience in testing and commissioning industrial machinery or plants would be considered an advantage.
