Role Overview

We’re looking for a Software Application Engineer (POS) with full-stack expertise to help design, build, and maintain high-performance retail applications. This role focuses on the core logic and scalability of point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring seamless integration with data platforms, hardware, and third-party services via APIs and microservices. You’ll be hands-on across the development lifecycle — from analyzing requirements and writing clean, efficient code to debugging, testing, and maintaining systems across multiple platforms and devices. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, user-friendly solutions that perform reliably across browsers, operating systems, and hardware configurations.

Languages: Java, C, C++

Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, Android

Frameworks & Tools: Kafka, Swagger, Spring

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate user requirements into technical specifications
• Design, write, test, and maintain software and system components
• Enhance and adapt existing applications and drivers
• Integrate third-party software and hardware systems
• Ensure performance and visual quality across devices and platforms
• Document technical designs and operational procedures
• Work collaboratively with developers, designers, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Stay current with emerging technologies and development best practices

Knowledge and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development, including C, C++, and Java
• Experience in enterprise or cloud-based environments
• Full software development lifecycle expertise
• Solid understanding of scalable systems, APIs, and microservice architectures
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills for a global team
