RE:LAB s.r.l. is seeking a Software Engineer - Simulation & Quantum Computing to drive software development and algorithms in Python for driving simulation and experimental projects. You will work with quantum simulators and support AI/data analysis efforts on cross-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a curious, motivated candidate with good Python skills, basic quantum computing knowledge, and an interest in applied research. Collaboration with engineers and researchers is essential.

Competenze

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Automation Engineering or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and ability to write clean, testable code.
• Basic academic knowledge of Quantum Computing via university courses or projects.
• Interest in simulation, AI, data analysis, and experimental software development.
• Good English communication and teamwork abilities.

Posizione:

To expand our Research & Development team, we are looking for a Software Engineer - Simulation & Quantum Computing. The role involves developing software and algorithms in Python for driving simulation and experimental projects, working with quantum computing simulators and emulators, and supporting AI and data analysis activities.

We are looking for a curious and motivated person with good Python skills, basic academic knowledge of quantum computing, and an interest in applied research. You will collaborate with engineers and researchers, progressively developing your skills through practical project work.

Main Activities

• Develop software and algorithms in Python to support driving simulation and experimental activities.
• Work with quantum computing simulators and emulators within research projects.
• Support data analysis and the integration of AI and Machine Learning solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers on testing, experiments, and technical documentation.

Requisiti:

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Good programming skills in Python.
• Basic academic knowledge of Quantum Computing, gained through a university course, project, thesis, or equivalent learning.
• Interest in simulation, AI, and experimental software development.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
• Good command of English.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with quantum computing tools such as Qiskit, PennyLane, or similar.
• Basic experience with AI/ML, data analysis, or simulation tools.
• Interest in automotive applications and human-machine interaction.
