The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and have 3-5 years of Rust development experience. This position offers competitive hourly rates based on skills, experience, and location.

About the Role

Shape the future of AI with Rust! As an AI Tutor - Rust, you will apply your systems programming expertise to improve AI-generated code, ensuring it aligns with Rust’s safety and performance standards.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Review Rust code for memory safety, correctness, and idiomatic style.
• Solve complex systems-level problems using Rust and communicate your process effectively.
• Identify and correct flaws in AI output or unclear logic.
• Summarize your approach and decisions clearly and concisely.

About You

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Expertise in Rust, including ownership model, lifetimes, borrowing, traits, and concurrency.
• 3-5 years of experience in Rust development or systems programming is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s or PhD is a plus.
• Deep interest in AI, compilers, or safe system design.

Alignerr is committed to pay parity and transparent compensation discussions. The expected hourly rate range for U.S.-based candidates is $15—$150 USD. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location.
