About the Role

Shape the future of AI using Rust! As an AI Tutor - Rust, you will apply your systems programming expertise to improve AI-generated code, ensuring it aligns with Rust’s safety and performance standards.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Review Rust code for memory safety, correctness, and idiomatic style.
• Solve complex systems-level problems using Rust and communicate your process clearly.
• Identify and fix flaws in AI output or unclear logic.
• Summarize your approach and decisions concisely.

About You

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Expertise in Rust, including ownership, lifetimes, borrowing, traits, and concurrency.
• 3-5 years of experience in Rust development or systems programming is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s or PhD is a plus.
• Deep interest in AI, compilers, or safe system design.

Alignerr is committed to pay parity and transparent compensation discussions. The typical hourly rate for US-based candidates ranges from $15 to $150 USD, depending on skills, experience, and location.
