YouGov cerca un Software Engineer, Python, totalmente remoto, basato in Polonia o in un altro paese europeo con entità YouGov. Collaborerai con i team di prodotto e design per costruire funzionalità di alto valore ed evolvere l’architettura dei servizi.

Avrai responsabilità su progetti ad alto traffico, sviluppo di codice manutenibile, definizione di test automatizzati e gestione della pipeline CI/CD, oltre all’utilizzo di container, Kubernetes e AWS per l’infrastruttura e il deployment.

Competenze

• 2–3 anni di esperienza commerciale con la maggior parte del nostro stack tecnologico.
• Conoscenza di Git e pipeline CI/CD.
• Buone capacità di comunicazione scritta e orale.
• Esperienza con microservizi distribuiti.
• Conoscenza di Python e framework web (Flask, FastAPI, Django, CherryPy).
• Esperienza con MongoDB e/o PostgreSQL.
• Buona conoscenza di Docker.

Mansioni

• Lavorare su progetti ad alto traffico in produzione.
• Scrivere codice semplice e manutenibile.
• Definire strategie di test e scrivere test automatizzati.
• Possedere il codice fino alla produzione con pipeline CI/CD e infrastruttura.
• Gestire l’esecuzione tramite orchestrazione di container e monitoraggio.
• Effettuare code review in modo puntuale e costruttivo.

About The Role

You will collaborate with product and design teams to build high-value features, drive the evolution of our architecture and system, and ensure the availability, scalability, and efficiency of our services.

Responsibilities

• Work on impactful projects with high volumes of production traffic.
• Produce simple, maintainable code while always looking to improve it.
• Define testing strategies and write automated tests.
• Own your code all the way to production with a self-service continuous delivery pipeline and production infrastructure.
• Run what you build using containers orchestration and monitoring technologies.
• Perform code-reviews promptly, regularly and constructively.

Key Skills & Experience

• Understanding of modern testing principles.
• You have 2-3 years of commercial experience working with the majority of our tech-stack.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with a highly distributed microservices architecture.
• Good knowledge of Python and some of the main web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django, CherryPy).
• Experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL.
• Good knowledge of Docker.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to end user.
• Experience participating in mitigating technical debt.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS technologies.
• Ability to think abstractly and deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems.
• 1+ years working remotely in a global environment.
