Join the Red Hat Observability Intelligence team as an engineer, focusing on the development of analytics tools for OpenShift clusters. You will integrate technologies, develop Kubernetes operators, and work within an Agile team to deliver value to both Red Hat customers and internal stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have strong programming skills, particularly in Golang, and familiarity with AI technologies.

Competenze

• Working knowledge of a high-level programming language, preferably Golang.
• Experience with containers and/or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with AI, LLMs, microservices is a plus.

The Red Hat Observability Intelligence team is looking for an engineer to join us. Be prepared to join a team developing Observability Analytics tools for OpenShift clusters that are used both by Red Hat customers and internally within Red Hat. In this role, you will also be required to stay up to speed with AI and develop AI agents for the agentic flow of OpenShift Lightspeed.

What you will do

1. Integrate Observability Analytics tools with other cluster components
2. Develop Observability Kubernetes operators (multi-cluster and single-cluster)
3. Develop AI agents for OpenShift Lightspeed agentic flow
4. Collaborate closely with the Quality Engineering team
5. Work in an Agile framework within a team environment

What you will bring

1. Working knowledge of any high-level programming language, preferably Golang
2. Experience with containers and/or Kubernetes
3. Open-mindedness with a deep desire to learn new things
4. Good verbal and written communication skills in English
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
6. Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Prometheus/PromQL is a plus
7. Familiarity with AI, LLMs, Agentic flow, MCP, and Python is a plus
8. Familiarity with microservices architectures is a plus
