Blimp is seeking a Software Engineer to join its R&D team in Milan, focusing on computer vision applications. You will contribute to development activities, work closely with other teams, and help advance the product roadmap.

Requirements include a CS degree and at least 2 years of software experience, with strong Python and Linux (Ubuntu) skills, plus OpenCV and TensorFlow knowledge. Remote work up to 2 days/week is available; permanent contract offered.

Competenze

• At least 2 years of experience developing software applications or services.
• Excellent knowledge of Python.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux Ubuntu.
• Previous experience in computer vision (e.g. OpenCV, TensorFlow, etc.).

POSITION To support a growing number of customers and to further increase the success of our service, we are looking for a professional to join the R&D team as a full-time Software Engineer. The candidate will join the team dedicated to research and development of computer vision applications, contributing to the development activities outlined in the product roadmap and acting as an interface with other teams.

MUST HAVE

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in developing software applications or services
• Excellent knowledge of Python
• Excellent knowledge of Linux Ubuntu
• Previous experience in computer vision (e.g. OpenCV, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Knowledge of database fundamentals

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals
• Experience in training computer vision models
• Previous experience in similar roles
