Agile Lab cerca un Software Engineer III per unirsi al team. The opportunity :

We are looking for a Software Engineer III to join our team.

Employment Type :

We are open to both full-time employment (RAL € 47.5K – 60.5K) and freelance contracts (with VAT registration required).

Starting date : As soon as possible.

Responsibilities :

  1. Analyzes, designs, and implements complex systems;
  2. Challenges the team processes, looking for ways to improve;
  3. Mentors junior engineers via pairing, design, and code review;
  4. Builds software solutions by adhering to our quality standards about SDLC;
  5. Makes active efforts to stay up-to-date with technologies;
  6. Leads the technical design of complex systems;
  7. Understands and optimizes system performances;
  8. Takes the initiative to fix issues before they become a problem;
  9. Delivers complex systems, well-baked, and almost bug-free;
  10. Proactively identifies problems with requirements and project plan.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science;
  • Previous experience (+3 years);
  • In-depth knowledge of Java (Spring Boot and / or Quarkus. Good knowledge of at least one);
  • Good knowledge of NoSQL DB (MongoDB, DynamoDB…) and distributed architectures (Kafka knowledge is a bonus);
  • Good knowledge of functional programming principles (optional: Scala);
  • Optional: Previous experience with Akka;
  • Understanding of cloud-native technologies (AWS or Azure);
  • Knowledge of CI / CD tools and processes;
  • Knowledge of IaC principles, Docker, and Kubernetes;
  • Experience with version control systems like Git;
  • Excellent knowledge of security, protocols, and open standards;
  • Conducting Design and Code Review;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Proactivity;
  • Business and functional understanding;
  • Team Player;
  • Ability to solve complex networking, data, and software issues;
