You will work within the Humanoid & Human Centred Mechatronics Research Line at IIT, a multicultural and multidisciplinary group with expertise in robot design, modeling, and control.
The research unit, led by Nikos Tsagarakis, focuses on innovative robot design, control, and teleoperation, including whole-body manipulation, balancing, and regulation.
This position is funded by INAIL to develop advanced, intuitive tele-operation robots aimed at reducing health and safety risks for workers. You will develop high-performance teleoperation software for a new mobile robotic system in hazardous industries, working on the tele-manipulation and haptics software of the master station, integrating haptic systems into the overall setup for remote operation tasks.
