Job summary

STAM S.r.l. in Cagliari is seeking a Software Engineer/Developer to join its Digital Solutions team, contributing to frontend and backend development and the design of web-based solutions for clients.

The role covers all phases of the software development life cycle, participation in technical proposals within RD&I activities, and collaboration with energy, infrastructure and industry projects. A Master or Bachelor degree is required, with up to two years of experience in IT projects.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent.
• Up to two years’ IT project experience in energy, infrastructure or industry domains.
• Experience in IT requirements analysis, system design and integration.
• Knowledge of testing activities and acceptance/qualification.
• Ability to create responsive web interfaces; Java or Python knowledge; MySQL or equivalent database.
• HTML5/CSS3 knowledge; familiarity with agile teams and development tools.

STAM is looking for a Software Engineer/Developer to join its office Cagliari within STAM’s Digital Solutions Business Area.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated person, interested in the digital world at 360 degrees, willing to bring her/his own skills within the team and to gain further knowledge and skills related to development (frontend and backend) and design of web-based solutions, with involvement in:

• All the phases of Software Development Life Cycle for the development of web-based solutions for their clients;
• Proposals preparation. Within the company’s RD&I activities, the SW Engineer will take part in the preparation of technical proposals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master or Bachelor Degree in Electronic, Energetic, Management, Computer, Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent;
• Up to two (or more) years’ experience in:
• Involvement in IT projects in the energy, infrastructure, or industry domain;
• Analysis and implementation of customer’s requirements for IT projects;
• System design architecture and integration for IT projects;
• Knowledge of testing activities and acceptance/qualification process
• Good technical skillset:
  - Required: ability to create responsive web interfaces;
• Required: knowledge of Java or Python;
• Required: knowledge of MySQL (or at least another database engine);
• Required: experience in HTML5, CSS3;
• Welcomed: experience in agile teams;
• Welcomed: knowledge of Spring Framework;
• Welcomed: knowledge of Angular;
• Welcomed: experience in WordPress and WooCommerce;
• Welcomed: knowledge and usage of development, project management, and team communication tools: GitLab, Jira, Trello (or Asana), Slack;
• Welcomed: some experience in developing web and advertising creativity (landing pages, mini-sites, responsive HTML5 banners);
• Welcomed: knowledge of ML algorithms.
• Knowledge of testing and validation activities;
• Good teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail;
• Good knowledge of the English language and in drafting project documentation.
