HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær is seeking a Software Engineer to advance the VI-WorldSim platform for traffic simulation. You will build real-time sensor models, integrate open standards, and work with partners across functions to deliver robust simulation tools for mobility systems.

The role requires experience in C++/Python, sensor physics, test automation, and QA practices. Hybrid work in Italy with 50% home office and 50% office time is supported.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a passionate Software Engineer to help us enhance VI-WorldSim, our cutting-edge traffic management simulation platform. In this role, you’ll work on innovative solutions that drive realistic agent behavior and improve mobility systems worldwide.

The right candidate will live near Udine or Torino and have the ability to work from home 50% and come into the office 50% of the time.

The right candidate will also be a citizen of Italy as we are unable to process candidates who are on a visa for this opportunity.
