Descrizione del lavoro

As a full-stack software engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, data scientists, architects, and other engineers working toward developing software solutions for the lab.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing, delivering software solutions, features, and remediating issues.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in working closely with a focused user base, empathizing with users, understanding user workflows, and delivering on user feedback.

Responsibilities include developing and modifying information system programs, supporting the implementation of moderately complex requirements across multiple platforms, analyzing and resolving application issues, and improving system performance.

You will support system requirements identification through user interviews, application analysis, and system evaluations, and monitor project progress by tracking activities and resolving problems.

Additional duties involve working as part of a team, adhering to UL's Code of Conduct, and following security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years of backend web development experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, FastAPI, or equivalent.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.

Nice-to-haves include experience in electrical labs, proficiency with Git/GitHub, familiarity with TypeScript, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), containerization (Docker), Linux scripting, and project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).
